A well marked itinerary between forests and alpine meadows, this hike will take you via the hamlet of Mayse with its goats and then to the Lac de Lessy.

Guided steps
1 /From the parking lot, take the gravel path in the direction of Mayse-Lac de Lessy. 2/ After a few twists and turns in the pastures, the path crosses the forest; in its upper part, the path, almost horizontal, crosses several avalanche paths where you may see some chamois. 3/ Cross the alpine pasture of Mayse. 4/ Continue past the chalets in the direction of the Col de la Forclaz. 5/ At the Col de la Forclaz go back down to the lake of Lessy. 6/ Return by the same path
