The Sambuis

Les Sambuis is a canyon that is located in the village of Le Petit-Bornand-les-Glières, made up of several waterfalls with few pools.

Walk lasts about 3 hrs.
At the top of the Sambuis, there is a beautiful panoramic view of the Belledonne mountain range to the west, very close to us, and to the south, the Aiguilles de l'Argentière and further away on the horizon, the big peaks of the Grandes Rousses such as the Pic de l'Etendard (3474 m) and the Pic du Lac Blanc.

We strongly recommend that you go canyoning with a qualified instructor.
